Feb 26, 2016 5:43 PM in response to geoff1957by deggie,If you looked where I just described and Home Sharing is not shown at the next to the end of the list, and you are signed in with the correct account in Settings > Music > Home Sharing, try a Forced Restart. Hold down the home and sleep buttons, wait for the Apple logo, let go of the buttons.

Mar 1, 2016 5:19 PM in response to geoff1957by ariepedia,★HelpfulIn the Music app, you need to click the red Artist link and select Home Sharing... but there is an annoying bug in the Music app; if you do not have any music transferred to your iPhone or iPad, the red Artist link is not displayed, so you cannot switch to Home Sharing.
To work around this bug, either download any purchased track to your iPhone or iPad, or copy at least one track to your iPhone or iPad from iTunes. Now the red Artist link will appear in the Music app and you will be able to select Home Sharing.

Mar 1, 2016 5:55 PM in response to ariepediaby geoff1957,In the music app, I have the Red Artist link, I have also downloaded a new Album I have just purchased from itunes on my pc plus downloaded 6 other albums from my itunes.
Strangely I have the red Artist link but no sign of the home sharing link.
In previous versions the home sharing link was on the bottom of the screen but again sometimes hard to find.
I have used it many time before via my iPad and my laptop, "which by the way works fine" and using Apple TV so why not now my iPad???
The home sharing seems to work fine on everything else I use but the iPad.
This is very frustrating as I am reasonably tech savy so know my way around the apps and pc settings ect.
I have followed all suggestions from the help page, other advice from forums, pretty much everything I have tried at least once.
Why does it have to be so hard to use something supposed to be so simple, it seems I am not the only one that is having problems so why do the people from Apple have to mess about with things so much? every new ISO update seems to change things lately!!!!
I have just re downloaded the new album via the cloud to see if that made a difference, restarted the iPad and still no luck.
Cheers Geoff
