Q: Miniplayer buttons stuck?

Hello all, this has been a problem for quite some time.

In Windows 10, my miniplayer always looks like this: imgur.com/a/SJXbZ.

 

The miniplayer display is stuck with the controls always visible. The buttons never go away, and if I try the non-artwork view, I can't see the track title because the buttons won't go away. The controls are visible regardless where my mouse is or what I'm working on.

 

One day I was using the Reader pdf app, and my mini player was working properly. The control bars went away and I could see full album art and it responded to mouse hovers. Unfortunately it didn't stay fixed and now I can't figure out how I did it.

 

What can I do to fix this? I know other people with the same problem.

    Hi there Vineeters,

     

    It sounds like you are using the mini player and the buttons that overlay the album art do not fade away when you move your mouse somewhere else like they are supposed to. First and foremost I would restart the computer if you haven't already. This step will fix most graphical anomalies that occur with iTunes. If the buttons still do not work as they should I would next use the troubleshooting in the following article about issues with iTunes on Windows:

     

    Fix unexpected quits or launch issues in iTunes for Windows

     

    You can probably skip the section titled "Disconnect your computer from the Internet" because I highly doubt this has anything to do with server connectivity. The main thing will be the user specific or system wide isolation to help determine what troubleshooting to do next, and the article will walk you through that. Would you mind letting us know how that goes?
