Spotify causes kernel panic

Hi!

After months without kernel panics I started to experience them on a regular basis about a week ago. Crashlog

I did some research and found out, that the problem is apparently coming from a conflict between Spotify and the OS X firewall.

Spotify is aware of the problem but claims that the bug is on Apple's side. They also say, that they were in touch with Apple developers who are aware of this.

So far, the only workaround is to disable the OS X firewall, which I really don't want to do.

I would really appreciate, if this issue could be addressed!

Thanks!

The panic is caused by a kernel bug. Please turn off the firewall in the Security & Privacy preference pane and see whether the panics stop.

I suppose it's possible Spotify has been coding around the "kernel bug" in their beta versions to allow it and the firewall to run together.
