itunes does not recognize my ipad

Hi
I have som troubles when I connect my Ipad to my Win10 laptop.
Itunes on the laptop does not see my Ipad, but Windows know that the Ipad is connectet.

In the device manager I can see the Ipad.

I have the latest updates installed.

14 days ago I reset my Ipad without problems and my music was sync. to the Ipad.

But today Itunes do not show that the Ipad is connectet.

When I look in Itunes where I can handle devices who can get automatic transfers and get buyed music I can see the Itunes know the Ipad is connectet.

I have the same problem with my Iphone 5C now

What can be the problem ?

Hi there ihes,

It sounds like your iPad is intermittently not being seen in iTunes. I would uninstall and then reinstall iTunes, if it were me. Normally I would recommend this article:

If iTunes doesn‘t recognize your iPhone, iPad, or iPod

But since it only happens every once in a while, I would just uninstall it in the order outlined in the following article and then reinstall it with the link within:

Remove and reinstall iTunes and related software components for Windows 7 and later
