Q: Wifi not found with 9.2.1

I'M having the same exact issue. the wifi works on my iPhone 5s and my iPad. But my iPhone 4s won't connect. I even tried to do a factory reset and then got a error message saying I couldn't connect to the Apple server. My kids are upset because they can't play their games. I've tried every possible fix listed online, except for the Wild Card, I can't take the chance that I'll ruin the phone.

Turn off your router for 30  seconds

When its back on  go to settings on iPad reset network settings

After reset enter your router wireless key .

What do y mean? is wifi grayed out?

A trick that works frequently with iPhones:

Settings > AirPlane Mode ON, Do Not Disturb ON

Power down and wait 5-10 minutes

Power up

Settings > AirPlane Mode OFF, Do Not Disturb OFF

If not successful, an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is usually in order.

otherwise:

Does the iOS device connect to other networks? If yes that tends to indicate a problem with your network.

Does the iOS device see the network?

Any error messages?

Do other devices now connect?

Did the iOS device connect before?

Try the following to rule out a software problem:                

- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost

Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at

least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

- Power off and then back on your router

.- Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings

- iOS: Troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks and connections

If your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch won’t connect to a Wi-Fi network

- iOS: Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points

- Restore from backup. See:

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.

If still problem and it does not connect to any networks make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.
