Q: old apple id

I recently got a new 6s and backed up to the cloud using an email address that i do not even have access to.. once i backed up the iPhone i deleted the email associated with the apple id and input one that i have access to..now its asking me for the password for my iCloud using my old email and i can't remember the password for it. and i can't go back and input the email as my primary apple email bc it asks for a verification code and i don't have access to that email so cant use that one solution I've seen people post..pls halp

Why would you cut yourself off from a backup like that?

Use Eric's link and when talking to Apple, tell them you need an Apple ID password reset sent to an alternate email address. Once you are verified as the account holder, they can do this, but there will be a 24 hour delay in sending you that email.

Your Apple ID does not have to be a functioning email address, but IT SHOULD be. Otherwise you are not providing a way for Apple to communicate with you.

In your case, I would also suggest changing the email address associated with your Apple ID AFTER you get this fixed.
