Q: Problem sending mac mail but not receiving.
My yahoo account was working fine to send and receive. Then I had problems sending. It would prompt for a password.
I reset my password to make sure there was no inaccuracy. No help.
I deleted the account and now I have issues re-adding it. Says Unable to verify account name and password.
I am out of ideas. This is for my macbook air.
My iPhone can access this account fine.

Try going to System Preferences/Internet Accounts. and change the password there. If that doesn't work, try deleting the account there.
