Installed Windows 10 on my iMac (late 2015). When in windows I am unable to use the mouse.

iMac 27 (late 2015) i7 16Gb Ram 1Tb Fusion Drive El Capitan

I installed Windows 10 via Bootcamp.

When actually installing windows I had to use the 'Tab' key and 'Return' key all the time.

When it finally installed, I found I wasn't connected to the internet (WiFi) and also didn't have a mouse or cursor.

I downloaded 'Windows Support Software to a 32 Gb USB from Bootcamp Assistant.

Started my iMac in Windows and via the 'Tab' button opened the USB, then the Bootcamp folder, the Setup.

I then got a message box saying....

Windows cannot access the specified device, path or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access this item.

I'm not brilliant with this kind of thing and I'm now puzzled

Any help will be greatly appreciated

I went to Windows 10 Settings, Mouse & Devices, Mouse, Additional mouse option (all with the tab & return on the keyboard).

While I was looking for the bluetooth enable button, I had pressed the pointer options tab. I un-checked the 'Hide pointer while typing' and the cursor appeared on screen, thus had control with the magic mouse.

I have since re-checked the same box and still have my mouse working.

Don't know if this was just pure luck but it is now working.

Thank you for your input.
