I had turned down my brightness all the way and left it open while a program was running. When it died I plugged it in and when it turned on it showed a blue loading screen, it would flash and load again infinitely. What do I do?

I didn't use Snow Leopard myself, but you may have a chance to repair it by holding down cmd and r at startup. To do so, simply turn your Mac off and then press both keys while restarting it until the apple logo shows up. Eventually it will load the Apple recovery desktop. If not, let me know:)

I'm trying to install windows with Boot Camp, can I do that without having to startup in OSX?

If you set up your partition correctly and the USB stick is all set there shouldn't have been any problem. Did you get any screen yet? If you start up having plugged in the USB stick, try holding down the C key or in former versions the Alt button to choose the startup volume. If you got this, choose the USB stick and boot Windows. If this does not work try recovering the Mac first by holding down Command, Option and R to enter the internet recovery mode.

I tried all of the keys nothing showed, I haven't partitioned the drive yet. Can I partition it without running OSX?

1. What year/model is your Mac?
2. What is the version of Windows you are trying to install?
3. Are you on 10.6 or 10.6.8?

Your Mac can only install Windows using a physical DVD, there is no other installation medium supported. Do you have the 'Grey' restore disks that originally came with your Mac?
I strongly recommend upgrading to 10.6.8, but no higher.
If you shutdown your Mac, power it up and hold Alt/Option Key, what are the available selections?
