Feb 28, 2016 2:57 PM in response to annalisafrompisaby K Shaffer,Hello, and welcome to Apple Support Communities...!
Having used a 'translation' software to read your Italian-based inquiry, I've chosen to re-post automated translate here:
"Good evening, I purchased a MacBook in 2010, now has the battery problems I would not change it directly but buy
a new one. But I would like to know if bringing my Mac to an Apple Store can judge me and maybe even take in.
Thanks for the attention"You could take the computer to an authorized Apple service provider for evaluation or inspection and they can inform
you of the battery status. Have you looked into the System Hardware and Power (or battery) section to see what the
cycle count, or charge/discharge total number that appears there? That is a partial guide to estimate battery condition.
The other numbers include original storage capacity and present capacity of the battery as shown in the system.

An official Apple Store may or may not be able to provide a replacement battery for a model that old, yet an authorized
Apple service provider (independent who may also be authorized to sell new Apple products, and repair them) can be
an answer because they should have or can get the correct battery replacement.
To have the computer evaluated overall may be a good idea. You should make a recent backup of the hard drive content
before taking the computer to the shop; just in case it thinks the visit is a time for forgetful pause and loses your stuff there.
Hopefully your visit to an Apple Store or authorized Apple service provider helps resolve the situation.
Good luck & happy computing!
