I have a program called Megabackup that keeps popping up on my screen and I want to get rid of it, but when I try to dump it in the trash, it's telling me I cannot get rid of it because the program is open.
VIN,iMac (21.5-inch Late 2009), OS X El Capitan (10.11.3)
1. Finder > Applications
Launch MegaBackup application.
2. Force Quit MegaBackup.
Press option + command + esc keys together.
When the Force Quit window opens, select MegaBackup and click “Force Quit”.
3. Remove MegaBackup.
Finder > Applications > MegaBackup
Right click on it and choose “Move to Trash”.
Empty the Trash.
Restart the Mac.
