Heart rate won't display in the Health Ap

I have an Iphone 6 and Apple watch. Heart rate will display on my watch while running, but I cannot figure out how to display HR data on my Iphone in the Health Ap. Researching the problem I found there is supposed to be a HR option listed under "Health Data" in the Health ap, but I have no option for HR. I do have HR turned on in "my watch," "privacy," "motion and fitness" so I don't understand why I have no option for HR in the Health ap.

Some very important HR info was captured by my Apple watch and I really need to get access to the data, so hopefully someone can help me out.

Hi

Check the following settings:

- On your iPhone, go to: Settings > Privacy > Motion & Fitness - check that both Fitness Tracking and Health are enabled.

- On your iPhone, in the Watch app, go to: My Watch > Workout - if it is presently enabled, turn off Power Saving Mode.

Also on your iPhone, in the Health app, go to Health Data (tab) > Vitals > Heart Rate:

- Turn on Show on Dashboard to have heart rate data included in the Health app Dashboard.

- Tap on Show All Data > tap on a day > check to see whether any data points exist and whether they have the watch icon shown to the left hand side (indicating that your watch was the data source).

Thank you so very much!!! I had everything correct up to the last suggestion. "Health Data" "Vitals" "Heart Rate" "show on dashboard" turned it on!!

You are a life saver and I can't thank you enough! My Garmin broke this morning so I went running with only my Apple Watch and unfortunately had a heart event. My cardiologist needs the data to see how fast my HR accelerated, dropped and accelerated again (70 to 211 in seconds). This data is far better than what I have gotten from the Garmin and the only data we have been able to document on a minute to minute basis. Thank you!!
