Since it isn't yours, you shouldn't attempt to enter it. Besides, it is probably locked, especially since it is disabled right now. A disabled phone can only be restored by the owner, and only through iTunes. Take the device to the local law enforcement agency and report it as found property.

It is locked and you cannot unlock it. Take it to your local police. If you keep it, then you have stolen property which is illegal.

The iPhone was given to me by my mom and i was ask by my mom to try an unlock it. It's not stolen! She said if I can unlock it I can have it. So please don't say I have stolen property because it was given to me

Please google the term "theft by finding".

She found it. She is fully aware that it does not belong to her. She is guilty of theft by finding. You are aware of the circumstances behind her finding it. You are guilty of receiving stolen property.

Then your mom would need to provide the appropriate information to remove the lock status.

Then why in your OP did you state that you found a phone? Now you say it was given to you by your Mom. Since she cannot seem to unlock it, how did she come to possess this device? Did she find it? If so, then she needs to do what I told you originally. It isn't yours, turn it in to law enforcement as found property. How can you definitively state that it is not stolen?

OK so a lot of people are saying I have stolen an iphone. I said I found it because I didn't know I had to type the whole story to get one answer. I don't want the phone to use the iphone as mine I have a phone(not and iPhone). So people here's the story. I'm getting confirmed( look it up) and I need my baby pictures and some other good pics for my table my phone wich was previously my mom's has the pictures on it. Im not really that good with technology. So I thought I had to get into get in to get the pictures . My mom disabled it while trying to guess what would have likely been her password she doesnt remember and I never knew. I just wanted to get to my pictures. If someone says they found something and you dont know where or how they found it then don't jump to conclusions. I'm not a theif I don't need to steal. If it was me I would not call a complete stranger a theif. Mabey you were taught that was cool. I don't care about the phone anymore I will just try to get more pics from another family member but being insulted or iinterrogated by people i dont know. Just nevermind the whole thing. For the people who talk lies about people online..... My MOM said pray for you people I'm done.

We are not asking for anything that isn't needed to help you.

You should drop the anger towards people who you asked to help you.

It took 2 + days, but now you have told us what we need to help. Her phone is locked by a forgotten passcode, which you will need a computer running iTunes to bypass. The process to remove the passcode will erase all the content on the phone.

There is NO WAY AROUND this. If you don't have a computer running iTunes, it can be a friend's computer. Once you have the computer, follow these steps to get into the phone. If you don't already have a backup of those pictures you are wanting, they are lost.

You REALLY need to be a lot more clear when explaining your problem. To say you "found" an iPhone implies that it is NOT your property.
