Monitor resolution and keyboard inputs are going crazy.

Hello everyone. I've installed Windows 10 via Bootcamp and since I've updated from Bootcamp 5.1 to 6.0 I have some issues with the display resolution and the keyboard inputs.

Let me explain: I have a Macbook Pro 13'' Retina (Late 2013) with Intel Iris Graphics 5100. The resolution is 2560x1600 and it works fine before I run the Bootcamp installation inside Windows 10. After the first relaunch, it changes and everything becomes little and I barely see what's on the display. Besides, the control panel starts to crash and also the keyboard, especially the volume-keylight controls.

I've tried to reinstall Windows over and over again, I tried to repair the drivers via Bootcamp but anything changes. Now it's a problem because even If I change the text and icon resolution (Windows suggest me 200%), a lot of apps doesn't work well and text/icons are very little.

1. Was W10 installed using BC5.1 drivers?

2. Are you also using an external monitor?

3. BC5.1 and 6.0 are BC Assistant versions. What the versions of BC drivers (5.1.5640 or 6.0.6133 or 6.0.6237). These can be four by looking Bootcamp.xml on your USB Installer.

4. Can you explain in more detail how you have upgraded?

The first time I tried (August) it was with 5.1, then I updated the assistant to 6.0 via Apple Update inside Windows 10. Now I tried again to install Windows via Bootcamp and I have the same issues as they were in August. I'm not using an external monitor. The version of BC drivers that caused troubles are 6.0.6133 and 6.0.6237, not 5.1.5640; this one just worked fine.

Is it possible to re-install W10 and disabling all Windows Updates?

Please see Windows 10 crashing, but not sure why. as a reference.

If you install W10, while you are network connected, you get updates silently. Was you last W10 installation without a network connection, including the BC drivers installation? Was a Windows System Restore point created before you connected to the network?

Always without internet connection.

I also checked a restore and there wasn't.

I suggest you re-install Windows without a network connection, instal BC drivers, create a Windows System Restore point, and then allow a network connection. If W10 fails, roll back to the System Restore point.

Sorry for the late response.

I've tried everything you said to me, but nothing worked fine. So, I downloaded the Bootcamp 5 drivers and I've installed Win 10 with them. Now the display and the keyboard work fine, but some apps have the old same problem: I see them so little!

Can you scale fonts to check if it improves the resolution?
