change location of onedrive folder

I would like change the location of the Onedrive folder to a USB drive. I have a limited amount of SSD drive space. I want to put Onedrive on a USB 3.0 micro drive always plugged into my laptop.

MacBook Pro with Retina display, OS X El Capitan (10.11.3), Onedrive

Copy the OneDrive Folder to New Location. Make sure you don't move it, Moving might cause OneDrive app to crash.

Now go to OneDrive Preferences and Unlink Account.

One Drive will ask you to re-login to your account.

Enter you One Drive User Name and Password and Click Next.

One drive will prompt to Choose One Drive Folder Location. Give the New Location of One Drive.

One Drive will Sync to New Location Now.

Now You can delete your old location if you choose to do so.

Just copy the folder where you want it. Delete it from your startup volume. You will need to re-configure OneDrive so it knows where the folder is located. If you don't know what to do, then ask the developers or read their documentation.

To move the folder you have to delete the account from the Mac and then resetup OneDrive with the new location.
