2. Downgrading an iOS device would reintroduce patched security vulnerabilities; doing it is only possible when downgrading a device running a beta or pulled iOS version to the last stable release.

Feb 28, 2016 9:22 PM in response to michael231715by ChrisJ4203,Because Apple does not, and never has, supported downgrading of iOS. Older versions of iOS are no longer signed and cannot be installed and verified on devices that support newer iOS.
