I try to host my iCal data on the server of my ISP using CalDAV. All my devices that do not run El Capitan can do it, but the one device running El Capitan can not. Other fora (https://github.com/owncloud/contacts/issues/1058 for example) claim that the issue lies with Apple.
What are my options?
- use iCloud
- run OS X Server
- find another ISP
The first one is no option for me. For the second one I would have to get Apple hardware since all my devices are mobile. Third one needs to be one under my local jurisdiction. I already tried installing owncloud at a local ISP and the WebDAV services of another ISP (which turned out to be owncloud based).
