I recently changed my apple id - a process which has caused massive amounts of frustration and time wasted - and the most recent problem is that I can't get my apple tv to log into my iTunes. It keeps defaulting to the old apple id and telling me it can't access the system at the moment when I delete it and input the current id and password. I've signed out of iTunes on apple tv AND turned Home Sharing off using my iMac. Then I've turned to back on using the current apple id and tried logging into apple tv and get the same error.
When I log into iCloud, with the thought that possibly I could give permission for my apple tv device to be recognized that way, there is no option to find or add an apple tv.
I dread the 1+ hour phone call to apple tech support again and would love it someone could just help me out with the simple solution. Apple is supposed to be simple, fun and intuitive, right!?!?!?!?
