Error when connecting Appleid to server

You don't need to post the same question twice. What error message are you getting if any?

It really helps if you ask a question with some background information rather than state a problem in a phrase format.

I am having this issue on my iMAC. Whenever i attempt to sign into iTunes this message is the reply "There was an error when connecting to the Apple ID server." I know that my id and password are correct because i can login in my iPad and iPods. Its not a password or login issue and i can't seem to solve the problem. I have check the Privacy tab in System Preferences and Cookies are allowed. Again, not sure what I'm doing wrong or if there is a firewall block but i don't think their is. Can you or someone please help.
