Feb 29, 2016 2:48 PM in response to pnaztydetroitby Niel,If you got it with the computer, restart with the Option, Command, and R keys held down, and reinstall it.
If you got it from the Mac App Store, log into that application with the same Apple ID, click on the Purchases tab and download it.
If you haven't previously gotten it, go to a physical Apple Store and ask for it.

If this is an older version of Final Cut Pro (NOT Final Cut Pro X) you can run this on either the free El Capitán or pay $20 to get a special download code to download and install OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion.
