systemstats
Silly question but can anyone tell me how to find private/var/db/systemstats/snapshots.db in Finder? It's stopping my SuperDuper backup and I need to deal with it.

Activate Finder or click on the Desktop. Select Go To Folder from the Go menu. Enter "/private/var/db/systemstats/snapshots.db" into the path field (quotes not needed.) Press the Go button.
Maybe it's SuperDuper you should look at instead. No reason for it to be affected by that file unless the files is corrupt and SD is trying to write to it. You may prefer to use Carbon Copy Cloner. It's much better than SD.
