I'm up to date with El Capitan/Photos. I'm trying to combine face albums in "faces." In the old iPhoto, I used to be able to drag one face on top of the other, and it would combine them. For example. I had my son named Mike and identified faces of him. Fast forward and I started naming him Michael. Now I have two "folders" or "albums" - of him. One named Mike and one named Michael. In the new Photos, I can't figure out how to combine them.

I tried that but it isn't working for me. Two versions of a name, one with the surname in capitals, which is how I prefer to have them. If I change the one with an initial capital to all caps it just reverts back when I click 'continue'
But it doesn't work. at. all.
Tried four times. Quite sure I'm doing it right.
I still have two faces 'profiles' - 'Mikkeline' and 'Mikkeline' - that will not merge.
So, what now?!?
I was looking at other posts about doing this and followed a suggestion there.
I changed the name on just one of them to something completely different, saved it and then tried changing the name again to that I wanted it to merge with and it worked fine at last!
