Q: Issue while getting call when listening songs through WiFi

Hello Guys,

I am using iphone 4 having iOS 7.1.2.

I recently came across one issue while i was listening music online from savan through WiFi,

I was listening songs in speakers and at that time there was call form some one,

I have received call but when i was taking in call in background songs from savan also playing speakers.

It was very irritating and to stop song for that moments I have switched off WiFi.

I have faced same issue many times.

Is there any solution related to this?

Hi kp220690,

I understand that the Saavn app is not stopping when a phone call comes in. Let's see if we can get this worked out.

Typically it should pause the currently played track so you can take the phone call. In the event that it doesn't, you might want to switch to the app and pause the song or close it out in multitasking. You can close and app by double pressing the home button and then swiping up on Saavn.

I do know that if it app is working as expected, you can try some of the troubleshooting in the article below. I know it speaks to apps crashing, but it is relevant for apps that are not working proerply. It will have you quit out of the app in multitasking, restart your iPhone and then delete the app to download it again.

Tx Norm123 for reply.

But is there any way to overcome this issue like software update or any thing else.
And its limitation of iPhone 4 only or for iPhone 6 or later having same issue ??

Hello Kaushal,

The version of iOS on your iPhone 4 is going to be the latest version. I would try deleting the app and downloading the app again to see if it reproduces. If this doesn't resolve it, I would always look out for an app update from the developer in the App Store to see if that resolves it.
