Q: iAd producer to create iBooks widget being discontinued?

Hello,

 

I just heard iAd producer is being discontinued. I am writing a couple of books and using iAd Producer to create some small animations in them. My question is what is the consequence of the product being discontinued in June?

 

Will the books work afterwards? is there a better alternative to create these animations? Any help to point me to the right direction will be greatly appreciated.

    Sir-rob,

     

    Where did you hear this?  This is more than a little alarming.  Did you happen to hear if they will be replacing it with something else?

     

    Just so you know, your books will work afterwards.  They are in no way connected to the program itself once you have exported the widget file and embedded it into your iBook.
