That is because your phone is already updated to iOS 9.2.1. Just ignore the message. Sounds like itunes is out of sync. I got this same message this morning when I connected my phone to the computer but I just canceled it since I knew my phone was already up to date.

Thanks for the reply. I kind of figured that but just wasn't sure if there was some incremental patch that was supposed to be installed. Funny though, you would think that would be a "known error".
Thankyou you were totally correct. When I checked my phone settings, it had the current ios update. Thanks for checking basics and making a worrysome issue easily resolved.
