Q: ATM only cards?

I see that BofA and Wells Fargo are upgrading their ATM's to accept Pay. I have an ATM-only card, not a debit card, so I was wondering if this card could be added to Pay.

Hi

Apple Pay presently works with supported credit cards, debit cards, charge cards and store cards.

To establish whether any given card is supported for Apple Pay, contact your card issuer (Apple does not publish a list of supported cards).

Well, I was thinking that since an ATM-only card is really a debit card with the debit capability disabled, it should work. I'm guessing that a debit/ATM card PIN is like the CVC on a credit card?

Either contact your card issuer or try adding the card (you will be advised if the card cannot be added).
