Q: Gaming on Macbook Air

I am trying to play some games on MacBook Air version 10.11.3. It is a 2.7 GHz Intel Core i5 processor. It has 8 GB on it only because I am partitioning it with Windows 8 via Bootcamp. My Macintosh HD drive has 14.41 GB free.

I am trying to play Need For Speed (rival or most wanted) on my Windows 8 partition. It seems to lag a bit. I don't know why it's lagging or how to fix it. I have researched all over Google and can't find anything that I can fix. The game runs, it just has a 3-second delay. My brother tried to reduce the resolution, running speed, etc. but it crashes whenever the settings are changed.

Any solutions would make me very happy.

Thank you

MacBook Air, OS X El Capitan (10.11.3)

Good! You may want to get in contact with Intel anyway. They may tell you an older driver works better, or have some tricks I don't know about. I saw an article they had that showed which settings to use for certain games, but now I can't find it of course. Maybe they can tell you the optimal settings for your computer.

Glad you are getting to play your game!
