Q: iPhone reseting and then hanging
Last Wednesday (Feb 24), we had about 20 iPhone/iPad user (out of about 225 total iOS devices) devices reset themselves, and then after the users unlocked them after the rebooted, they went to a black screen with the Apple logo. The issue started at various times, and lasted until about 3:00 PM, when all of the devices started to work again. All of the users had ActiveSync and were connected to our Exchange server.
Our tech team began troubleshooting the issue immediately, and it clearly was related to ActiveSync, but our efforts stopped when the devices went back in service. We did not identify any issue, or provide any corrective action.
Has anyone else seen this before? The devices were various iPhone and iPads, No Android or Microsoft devices were affected, and it was about 20 out of 375 total devices.
Devices include 5s, 6 and 6s, and iOS runs from 9.0.1 to 9.2.1. Carriers include Verizon, AT&T and Sprint.
iPhone 6, iOS 9.2.1
