Q: Text imported from Motion pixelated

I create text over video in Motion 5. The project settings are

The video looks great in Motion and I use the Throw behavior and 3D text.

When I import into FCPX it's pixelated as it grows. I use Helvetica Font because that's what I see FCPX uses.

In FCP I use progressive not interlaced for video rate.

I don't recall this being such a problem with the ast video 6 months ago, but I don't know what I've done differently.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

iMac, OS X Yosemite (10.10.5), 3.5 GHz Intel Core i7 so spiffy

I checked the Deinterlace box in FCPX and that solved the issue.

Have you rendered it in in FCP? The video in Motion is interlaced.

Another question re same topic - in FCP the font size is 63. So I make it that size in Motion.
As above, it is coming thru pixelated, so to try to test in FCPX, to duplicate the font size visually to be same, I must use twice the size, e.g. 125. What's that all about?

So I use Motion because of the ease of the Throwing of the text. Should I simply abandon Motion an do all in FCPX?

What is the question? Why the font sizes are different? Don't know. Maybe someone on the Motion forum knows. Not sure why you have to abandon Motion if you want to use its functions. Graphics animation is much easier, more flexible, and more interesting in Motion.

I totally agree that graphics animation is easier, more flexible and interesting in Motion.
The question is yes, why are the font sizes of 63 so vastly different in FCPX & Motion. Just a curiosity more than anything else.
