I have an old iBook G4 with iLife and i want to factory reset it, is there anyway I can do this without losing imovie, garage band, etc. I dont have any of the discs anymore.

You need to either use its original disks or install an iLife DVD afterwards. Which iLife DVDs will work depend on the OS the computer will be running afterwards; for Mac OS X 10.5, use an iLife 09 or earlier one.

I bought it used so I don't have any of those.
You need to buy one from a source such as Amazon or eBay, or by phoning Apple and ordering replacement original disks.

I don't think you can reset it without losing iLife. But if you still have the install Disc, than you can reset it and install it afterwards.
