I deleted all my iBooks but phone memory shows 4.5 GB of data. How can I clear that space?

iPhone 6s, iOS 9.2.1

You've tried a soft-reset/reboot of the phone ? If that doesn't free up the space you could try downloading a small ibook on your computer's iTunes (or iBooks app if using an up-to-date Mac), and select and sync that to the phone and see if that frees up the space

Thank you. I tried the reset but it didn't work. I connected it to my Mac to do an update and it did the trick. Not sure what happened, but it worked. Thanks for your reply.
