How can I publish an MP4?

I Have an MP4 video that I made on iMovie and have uploaded it to iTunes. I want to share it with other but when I tried to use iCloud photo sharing it wanted to cut it back to 5 minutes. My movie is 1 hr 37 mins. Where can I store it that would enable me to share a link so others can view it?

iMac, OS X Yosemite (10.10.5)

iCloud Photo sharing is free, independent of the paid iCloud subscription, and so the uploads are limited.

Videos will be reduced in size and resolution:

iCloud Photo Sharing supports both MP4 and QuickTime video file types, and H.264 and MPEG-4 Video file formats. Videos can be up to 5 minutes in length and are delivered at up to 720p resolution.

Thanks. I did try you tube. The trouble is it is a private video of a long trip. I only want to link to it via a private blog of the trip participants. Trouble is there is a bit of music in it that Sony (SME) says they have copyrighted, probably a couple of minutes of the whole video! I don't want to have to go through the hoops and cost of getting permission to use it. I don't see why it is a problem when I was only planning on posting it privately. I had a look at Vimeo but they only let you upload 500mb a week, so this video is bigger, 1.2gb. Any other ideas?

Posting a video or sound file on the internet is a public performance, even if only selected people can view it.

Put the video into your Dropbox folder and send the link by email. Your friends will have to download the video to watch it.

Thanks again. I understand what you are saying about copyright, but when it is such a small amount on a video thats going to just be privately shown, not accessible by the world at large, it doesn't seem any different to me to the old days of making a tape to play in the car from music you had legitimately purchased! Times change. Looks like I am not going to be able to share it other than via DVD, but wanted to move into the new world!
