How to sync contacts with outlook 2016 using itunes

The contacts I have on my new iPhone 6S do not sync with my Outlook 2016 on my new Windows 10 computer. What steps do I take to transfer my contacts from my iPone to Outlook?

Hi Macamba,

Congratulations on your new iPhone 6s!

It sounds like there's an issue syncing contacts on your iPhone 6s with Outlook 2016 on your PC. Do you have an iCloud account? The article below will walk you through the process of using iCloud for Windows to automatically sync contacts in Outlook 2016 with iCloud and your iOS devices.

Also, this article should explain why you are running into when only syncing contacts from Outlook 2016 using iTunes for Windows.

Check your system requirements

To sync with iTunes, make sure that:

You're using Microsoft Outlook 2003, 2007, 2010, or 2013.

Cheers.

All of a sudden I see my contacts appearing as "Contact personen" (Contact persons, it is Dutch) in Outlook's My Contacts, besides Contacts. Hopefully it is now solved.

By the way, using iCloud is not an option in my view. I do not like to store my private data on external disks where everybody (NSA, hackers) can access it.

Thanks for the support.
