playlists - total length

Is there a way to request that Apple add back the total time per playlist in itunes??!! All fitness instructors that use itunes have to now manually calculate the time by adding the song length together - what a royal pain. I'm sure that there are others that also miss this feature. We change our lists constantly and now have no idea if we will run over our time per class without adding manually - this creates issues since the gym is scheduled for many classes and we need time to switch out our instructors and students. What a huge FAIL by itunes!

The feature is still there, Apple simply hid it (who knows why!).


Actually, there are several ways to show it.

In some Playlists view, such as this one, the Playlist/Artists view, there is no information:

User uploaded file


But the Playlist/Songs view of the same Playlist, looks like this:

User uploaded file


But if you use CTRL+/ to turn on the Status Bar, you get this too:

User uploaded file


However, not in the Playlist/Artist view:

User uploaded file
