Q: How do you know which number a missed call was to if you have two phones using Continuity/Handoff?

I have two phones and a mac on the same iCloud account and on the whole like the new handoff feature. I regularly use it to answer calls on my Mac when I am working without having to find my phone(s). However, something is crazing me and I might just be being dumb. When I have a missed call it appears in both logs on my phones but as far as I can see, it is impossible to know which number was called. As I have a work and a personal phone I need to know if I have missed a call from a potential client or if I have missed a call to my personal mobile which if I don't know the number is most likely to be junk.

"Handoff" - you mean "Show calls on other devices" (Handoff is used for app data)

Don't allow calls from one phone to go to the other - only on your Mac:

On each phone:  Settings > Phone > Calls on Other Devices > Allow... > turn off for the other phone
