what happened to reair disk permissions

There is no longer a repair disk permissions in disk utilities. Is there another way to repair them?

System Integrity Protection will stop most of them from being changed to begin with. For the remaining ones, use the First Aid function.

Apple is now claiming they are doing the tedious Quality-Assurance work to make sure they don't get set incorrectly to begin with.
