Q: How to remove "Other" account from login screen?

Hello!

 

I have no guest users on my mac. I have only 1 admin user. Please help me and tell, how i can remove "Other.." login option from my login screen?

    THIS IS REALLY HELPFUL!!!!!!

    I tried so many ways in order to remove "other..." in the login window, but it didn't work.

     

    However, Just open "terminal commands" and paste

    sudo defaults write /Library/Preferences/com.apple.loginwindow SHOWOTHERUSERS_MANAGED -bool FALSE

     

    then, it works !!!

    I found in another similar thread that the user had installed adware that created a hidden user on the system. That is what was causing the Other to show up.
