Mar 2, 2016 7:12 PM in response to Podstompby Robert Walch,Depending on who your podcast host is - you might have access to ad stitching tools that will allow you to stitch in different ads for different regions.
LibsynPro offers these tools to their users.
But this is not something you can do via iTunes - and must be something you do via your media host.

Mar 2, 2016 7:36 PM in response to Robert Walchby Podstomp,Thanks Robert,
I understand that the media is not hosted with iTunes, more interested in whether the user that accesses the podcast via iTunes can be served up content based on their region? Is this what the Libsyn tool allows ? or is location based ad stitching just possible if people listen to it directly from a Libsyn player widget ?

Mar 2, 2016 7:53 PM in response to Podstompby Robert Walch,It is something your media host would have to do with their tools - look at the IP address and the geo location of that IP address when the request comes in and then serve the correct version of your show. That is something that the libsynPro tools allow for you to have set up.
But there is nothing in iTunes for that - it is 100% on your media host - as they are the ones that actually get the request for the media file from your end users.
With iTunes when you submit your feed to them - regardless of which country you are in - your ONE feed gets pushed out to ALL the apple stores around the world - so you can't upload a feed for the US and another feed for the UK and so on. iTunes does not work that way.
Just one feed globally for each show - which means per the above - the ability to geo-target a specific version is 100% on your media host.
