"The data couldn’t be read because it isn’t in the correct format." HELP!

User uploaded file

Hey there everyone!
Before we start, here are my system specs:

iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, Late 2014)

4 GHz Intel Core i7

32 GB 1600 MHz DDR3

Macintosh HD

AMD Radeon R9 M295X 4096 MB

I recently restored my iMac after a terrible hard drive malfunction. I had to do the whole "delete your hard drive thing and run internet recovery to install a clean version of everything" thing... lol

I managed to save my Logic Pro X files. You would think that I could just double click the project files and open them in Logic Pro X, but for some reason I can't, and every project file has the .logicx after it. I've tried pressing the "enter" key and naming them with just .logic (removing the "x"), saving it as a new Logic Pro X project file and opening it, but when I do, all I get is a blank project with no assets. I've also tried saving it as a folder, kinda like in Logic Pro 9 days where all the assets are under one folder, but I still get that error message, "The data couldn't be read because it isn't in the correct format." So far I've only managed to open one project. Nonetheless, it plays flawlessly and has all the content, but what in the blazes is going wrong? I assume it might have something to do with plist files. If so, how do I reset them? How do I get my projects to OPEN in the right format? Any help would be awesome! Thanks!

Also, here's a paste bin from the console. I didn't copy and paste everything cuz it was repetitive. http://pastebin.com/TAMwFTiy

Hey there! No, I wasn't able to fix this. The closest I got was just being able to only open a few projects. Most of the content was there, but anything with real wav files attached to it were permanently damaged. It sucked, but I've since moved on. I learned the hard way and went out to an Apple store and got a 3TB external hard drive. I run Time Machine throughout the day (the thing backs up like every hour! haha) I highly recommend doing this. It might seem like you're spending a lot of money, but it's really not. It's only a one time buy, but it will save you a tremendous amount of stress. I'm back to regularly composing/recording/editing now. Life is good. Sorry I didn't have a solution. People weren't very helpful on here. 😟
