Q: can't see holidays in calendar

Have you gone to Calendar>Preferences...>General>...and ✓'d "Show Holidays calendar?"

Then go to System Preferences...>Language & Region>Region:...and set/reset your appropriate "Region." Also select the appropriate "Calendar:"

Quit Calendar, then paste this text ~/Library into the Finder Menu>Go>Go to Folder...window and select "Go." This will open the Users Library Folder.

Next open the Preferences Folder in that Library Folder and move the com.apple.iCal.plist file to the Desktop.

Log out/in or restart and open Calendar.

FWIW the spelling is com.apple.iCal.plist  - but not sure it will make a difference

unless you're using Finder's Find File and not spelling it out . .

From your other post, I presume it also answered this question.

With Calendar open, select Calendar>View>"Show All-Day Events."
