Hello i'm having issues to stream netflix, i have an Apple Airport Extreme as my main router, the problem is that i can access netflix app or website , i choose the title i want to watch an then an error message says

Whoops, something went wrong...

Streaming Error

You seem to be using an unblocker or proxy. Please turn off any of these services and try again. For more help, visit netflix.com/proxy.

gI tried to plug my laptop directly to the ISP modem and everything works normally on netflix, but when i switch back to the airport extreme something is blocking the streaming.

I've tried to reset to factory settings but still the same error.

Please a Little Help

As you are aware, Netflix has started cracking down on folks who are using proxy servers or VPNs in order to access Netflix content that is designed to be seen in countries other than their own. I am not accusing you of doing so, but Netflix thinks you are.

Has this always happened or just started to happen recently? If just recently, did you do any network changes?

I am assuming that you are using an Apple AirPort base station that was designed to work in your country. Is this correct? If so, then the only thing, at this point, that I can think of is to perform a "factory default" reset on your AirPort base station again and reconfigure it for your network to see if this helps resolve the issue. Otherwise, I would suggest that you contact Netflix support directly to find out how you can get this resolved.

Hello thanks for your reply, i don't use VPN or proxy , i already talked to netflix and they told me that i'm not blocked, in fact i tried to use another Router and everything was fine, the problems is caused by the Airport , Netflix told me that Apple should help with that issue in no time

Ok, thanks for the update. Well, the Apple Support Communities is a user-to-user forum. Apple personnel, may or may not, respond to any posts here. If you want to contact Apple directly, I would suggest that you do so at Apple Support.
