Is Siri Hipaa-Compliant?
My technologists tell me that Siri is encrypted in transit, encrypted in place. I assume Apple would not sign a BAA, but, is Siri compliant for use with PHI?
Siri is not HIPAA compliant because they will not sign a BAA. Their technology "may" achieve the level of compliance that's needed but they'd have to participate with that agreement. I would keep all of your PHI away from Siri.
