Mar 3, 2016 9:48 AM in response to fixilatorby Kappy,Hide and unhide purchases in the Mac App Store
I'm not sure if you can hide them in the iTunes Store. You cannot delete a purchase from the list.

Mar 3, 2016 10:36 AM in response to Kappyby fixilator,Thanks for the link Kappy, but it did not work.
I followed the directions for Mountain Lion or later (I run Yosemite), and the "purchased apps" does not show any of the apps I want to delete. It only shows one app from 3 years ago. ?????????
This is very, very frustrating.
When I log into iTunes and access my purchased apps through that, they all come up (as icons, not a list). But there's no way to access a "hide" option from that page. I tried everything.
Please, any advice? Thanks.

Mar 3, 2016 10:46 AM in response to fixilatorby Kappy,As I said, I don't believe you can hide purchases from the iTunes Store. The link I posted is for the Mac App Store, so it won't be of any help for your iTunes purchases.

Mar 3, 2016 11:04 AM in response to Kappyby fixilator,I didn't purchase them from the iTunes store. I purchased them from the App Store, on my phone.
Just in case I was mistaken though, I followed the link for "How to hide iTunes store purchases" and that didn't work either. When I hold the cursor over the purchased app's icon, no "x" appears in the top-left corner that would enable it to be hidden.

Mar 3, 2016 11:03 AM in response to fixilatorby Kappy,That is the iTunes Store. The App Store generally is used to refer to the Mac App Store. Can become confusing, I know.

OK, so I will keep trying the "How to hide my iTunes purchases" directions. But so far, no luck.

Mar 3, 2016 11:17 AM in response to fixilatorby fixilator,Yeah... following the instructions... I see all my iTunes app purchases...
It's all good until Step 5:
Scroll to find the item that you want to hide. Hold the cursor over the item and an X appears in the upper-left corner. Click the X, and the item hides.
This. Does. Not. Happen.

Mar 3, 2016 12:05 PM in response to Dah•veedby fixilator,Thanks for confirming DahVeed. I went to my music purchases and yes, it works as it should. Had not thought of trying that.
So, is there no recourse? If I go the an Apple Store, will they be able to help?
Does anyone know how long this has not been doable? i.e. is there any reason to expect it will ever be fixed?
