How can I use a wireless printer/scanner with iPad pro

If the printer is AirPrint enabled, then they just need to be on the same Wi-Fi network.

Use AirPrint to print from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

If not, then some manufactures provide iOS apps to allow you to print to their printers.

For printing anyway there are also third party apps to allow printing between an iPad and printer. (not so sure about scanning tho but maybe)

Look on your printer manufacturer's site and the specs for your printer and see what your options are

Aside from the scanning (which I rarely do) the Canon app is pretty worthless too.

AirPrint is just so much easier to use that trying to print through an app.

The most important thing abou Airprinting is the printer must be on the same wifi network as your iPad. If you have a inexpensive printer like me you need a laptop to run the set-up disc that came wih the printer. On more expensive printers you can enter your wifi passcode diectly on the printer.

Due to the fear of infecting your iPad I don't think scaning is possible.

If you have time give the Readdle app a look. I got the paid version for free when it first came out. A Lite version is available. The app lists all the places you can print from and the paid version you get some printing options for some things like Photos.

Scanning is possible just obviously not natively via AirPrint.

It requires an iOS app. I have a Canon MFP and can scan to my iOS devices via the Canon app.

Thank you for the clarification. On my hp printer on both the hp and Readdle Pro Printer apps scanning is impossible.
