The YouTube app icon is missing on my daughter's iPad. I can see it i iTunes and can even move it around but it is hidden on the iPad. It is also listed in the settings.
I have tried un-installing and reinstalling but that has not helped. How do I get it to show?

If you still haven't found the YouTube app you can ask Siri to open it.
The Youtube app is not a default app on the iPad. Perhaps you deleted the Youtube app from the iPad. You can reinstall again using the App Store app.
There are no folders created. I doubled checked just to be sure.
its happened before but for the life of me I can't remember what I did to resolve it.
My iTunes account is the primary account (she's 3), if this info helps.

I am beginning to suspect that the issues have to do with the latest update. I am unable to effect the update deplored on the 1st of March, the update button is grayed out. And the reviews of the latest update are also not very encouraging. I have downloaded the YouTube for kids (which might be more appropriate for her age and use)
Do I need to delete the app from my iTunes library and re-download it?
Ssomeone may have put on restricted mode and make youtube private....Since YouTube is a place where anyone can upload anything it may me suspected that YouTube is 12+ or 18+ which means that you can put restricted mode on...... Try going to your settings and you can disable this mode
It sounds as if YouTube may be inside a folder on your daughter's iPad. Check in the folders.
You can invoke Spotlight, iOS' search tool, by swiping left-to-right from the iPad's home page. They type "YouTube" in the top search row. That should take you to the app.
