Q: How to find the date I purchased an app?

I want to know what the date I first downloaded a specific app from the app store was. I looked in the purchase history both in the app store on my device and the purchase history in iTunes, but neither one shows the date the app was downloaded. I have the current iOS (9.2.1) on an iPhone 6.

You should be able to see it in iTunes on a computer. You can't see this information on an iOS device unless you save all of the emailed receipts that Apple sends when you make a purchase.
See your purchase history in the iTunes Store on a Mac or PC - Apple Support
