Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT
Upgraded to El Capitan and wanted to update 3.4.5 to 3.6, but this seems only possible using App Store, while I bought Aperture as a retail software package and App Store refuses to let me download the update because of this.
Is there a workaround for this issue?
If you need a feature which Aperture has but Photos doesn't, clickhereand follow the instructions.

Any chance you could repost that link you spoke about when you mentioned " in the document I linked to" above. I am having exactly the same issue. I purchased the box version of Aperture (so long ago now that I can't remember where!!!) and now it won't work with El Capitan.
Pretty disappointed I have to say about the whole situation but no point in moaning about it here..... 😠
If you could publish the link you mention I'd appreciate it as I'm trying to get my image libraries back online so I can access them.
