    Hi,

I take it that on the iPhone > Settings > Messages > Send and Receive that both the Apple ID and the iPhone Number are active ?

I take it on the Mac in Messages > Preferences > Accounts > iMessages account both the iPhone Number and the Apple ID are set as Receive At items ?

IF you check the "To" spot can you can which ID or iPhone Number the Mac versions is saying you are connected to for your Contact ?

Does that agree with the iPhone's version ?

In some cases you will be looking at the sync version on one as the other in not logged in properly.

Lets say for instance that the Settings on the iPhone say the iPhone Number is not checked (It happens sometime even though you can't change it).

After a while the Number is de-registered and then will not sync with the Mac as the Apple ID and iPhone Number become unlinked.

There is a sort of halfway house time in the middle before the number becomes derigestered where only partial syncs works.

It may pay to Sign Out of the Apple ID on both then reset the iPhone Number (wait until it verifies) before adding back the Apple ID and turning it back on again on the Mac.

Accept any pop ups from the iPhone about what it is using.
