Earpods problem

I bought iPhone 6s plus 3 months ago,

Earpods which came along seams having problems with it.

Sometimes sound breaks on left ear and if I touch the base of the 3.5 mm jack then it will become normal and plays fine.

Hello pruthvidns,

Thank you of using Apple Support Communities.

I see that you are having difficulties with the earbuds with your iPhone. The following article will walk you through troubleshooting what might be going on and the best way to resolve it.

If your headset isn‘t working

If you discover that the earbuds are defective, they have a 1 yr warranty, see below from the warranty:

Your Apple-branded or Beats-branded hardware product (“Product”) is warranted against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of ONE (1) YEAR from the date of original retail purchase (“Warranty Period”) when used in accordance with Apple`s user manuals (refer to http://www.apple.com/support/country).

Apple One (1) Year Limited Warranty – Accessory - For Apple and Beats Branded Products Only.

If you have the receipt for the device that the ear buds are used with, that is the best. But frequently, the device, in this case the iPhone with it's serial number is usually enough.

Best regards.
