Q: Difference between Thunderbolt display and iMac
what is the difference between Thunderbolt display and iMac, in terms of display quality? it seems to be too expensive compared to the latter? although 27" iMac is 5K, and Thunderbolt Display is just HD?
The standard iMac has the same resolution as the TBD. Only the iMac retina is sharper but may be hard to tell the difference on most images. You can get the exact specs at the Apple site.
